Earth Day - "Backyard Adventures"

In celebration of Earth Day I thought I would do some yard work this morning! So I took my camera outside and took some pics of beautiful flowers and plants growing wild in my yard. I woke up at 5:00 this morning to some very loud, very noisy ducks talking in my backyard. NOISY! They live in our backyard...I caught them sunbathing right next to this tree a few days ago.

This was not here last year! Is this morning glory? Don't know where it came from, but it's going to be hard to get rid of.

SNAKE!

I knew it! I knew I would find one in my yard! I picked up the tarp that we use to cover the grill, and this snake was hiding under it. Okay, I know it's just a baby but it gave me a heart attack! That's what I get for trying to celebrate earth day. He kept sticking his tongue out at me....he was mocking me. I could tell. He was.

I saw the "Bee Movie" so I know bees are important.....but how annoying are they? They live outside my sliding door so every time I open it, they surround me! I think that's enough yard work for this month.

Easter

Easter egg hunt at West Haven Park....always a good time. Breakfast at Golden Coral....then shopping.....and end the day with a fantastic date night with my hubby. Wish every day was spring break!

Baby Animal Farm

Who doesn't love baby animals! Shaylee and Ari don't see each other often, so we took them to this farm in Logan that has baby animals every year. They got to hold goats and chicks. Was it packed......oh yes! But totally worth it. Spring break rocked this year.
