A few weeks ago, Kate and Tyler got out 4 cartons of eggs and had themselves a pretty good time cracking them on the kitchen floor. Now this photo doesn't do justice. You can see the egg yolks, but what you don't see is the egg whites smeared all over. And the towel in the back, is their attempt to clean it up. They also threw some out the glass sliding door and onto the deck, but some of them missed and broke on my carpet. The house stunk of eggs for days after. Took me all morning to clean it all up. I had to mop....twice. One day I will laugh at this. One day.
Oh Lys! What a mess! I haven't seen a good mess like that for a while. It made me smile - but of course I didn't have to clean it up or smell it for days!
