Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Alli and Sunni came with us to the Gateway on St. Patrick's Day. We went to see "Under the Sea" in 3D at the Planetarium which the kids loved! Then we played in the water....and had dinner at Applebees.

The kids had fun at the Discovery Museum. Today was free day!

Kate fell asleep on the way home. Actually, they all fell asleep, so it was a nice, quiet drive home.

It's Officially Spring

Well, tomarrow it's officially Spring, so we celebrated at the park. This kite cost me 'one dollar' at Walmart.....a small price for an endless day of fun. She flew for a good 30 minutes and we are quite impressed. Just look at her go...

I am in the process of changing our blog layout, so this will have to do for now. Not sure how I want it to look just yet. Thanks to our voters, the winner of our coloring contest was Shaylee! And boy was she excited....she won 5 bucks and got to pick her favorite dinner. If Shaylee could live anywhere in the world, she would go back and live at Grandma Lorna's house. She misses her friends there. Stay tuned, we've got family pictures coming up!

Kate is growing some hair...yay!

Kate now sleeps in the bunkbed with Shaylee and so now she won't take naps! She absolutely, totally and completely refuses to take a nap and so you can see for yourself in this video that she still needs one!

Always thinkin...

I could sit and watch Tyler all day....and I do! His favorite thing to do is to lay on his belly and look around...watching everyone and everything. Yesterday, Tyler started waving and he is really close to crawling. I wish I could just keep him at this stage forever!

Is Tyler getting enough sleep?

Tyler is now 6 months old and he is still getting up every 2-3 hours! I am so very tired. Maybe he just doesn't require much sleep. What a funny guy. Tyler entertains us every day. He doesn't cry as much as he used to...in fact he is such a happy baby! He snorts when he laughs and even sometimes when he's not laughing or doing anything at all. This morning he made us laugh with this picture but sometimes I still wonder......"Is Tyler getting enough sleep?"

Christmas

Well, we had a great Christmas! Shay didn't wake us up too early, so we got some sleep. Aaron was up late putting a play kitchen together and I was doing last minute wrapping. I wrapped pretty much everything on Christmas Eve. Shaylee's favorite toy was a polly pocket which was on clearance for only two bucks......had I known I would have bought a hundred of them! Kate got a talking Elmo which we all love to play with. Aaron got seasons 2 and 3 of "The Office" and some x-box games. I got a new sewing machine! Can't wait to learn how to sew stuff! I also got a Rachel Ray cutting knife and a giant excersize ball! (Now if I only had the time). We miss having a fireplace, so luckily Comcast on demand has a crackling fire that you can watch on your t.v. It felt like the real thing! We had a wonderful Christmas and hope you did too!
